The reel couldn't cast any smoother but on retrieve it squeeks and get a little rough. It seems the noise is coming from the right side of the spool/ reel. The bearing the pinion gear sits thru is fine. I'm not sure what part to work on.

if the pinion gear is fine, which is usually the cause than it is a gear issue, and those are impossible to find. I have one set left for service customers. Dan
