    Dual pro charger problem

I have a dual pro 3 bank recreation series that as far as I know has worked well the last couple years but, I noticed when removing it to put on another boat that the plastic is melted a little around 2 of the led lights and also around 1 of the bottom cords. Anyone else ever run into this and what could be the cause?

Heat or chemical damage are the obvious likely causes. Was it ever in a tight space without clearance around it or one without good ventilation? Any chance gasoline or something similar got spilled on it?

Call Dual Pro and if for no other reason, gives them a heads up that something is going on with a batch of their cases which need to remain watertight. Maybe they can suggest an epoxy or other glue to reinforce any weakened spots.
