    Updated 998

    I just updated my 998 to the most current software so I can use it with my new ultrex!! I understand there is limited capabilities with the 998 and ultrex. Any ideas what I can or can't do. And any settings to my 998 that I should do to get the most out of it!! Thanks!!!

    Newest software doesn't help with the Ultrex or new MK Bluetooth TMs on the xxx8 series legacy units. Going to need a xxx9 or newer unit with latest software. Unless, you have software dated Dec2016 or later then unit can't match the capabilities of the newer TMs.

    Thanks ezfishn. Sorry I'm being repetitive in these posts. I still haven't been on the water yet. Once I see what I can't do then I'll have to bite the bullet for a new bow unit. Thanks again!
