    lowrance problem

For some reason my graph at the counsel won't turn on but if you put the same graph up front turns on zero issues. Anyone good at this do work on the side? I need it fixed ASAP! (heading to LOZ next weekend). If not who do you recommend close to elizabeth park?

Check in line fuses and fuse block... Check battery compartment for any wires left off the battery terminals. Check connections at graph.

check, double check, triple check. That's what I was thinking because it worked when I put it up for winter.

If you have a glass inline fuse, Many times there will be corrosion that needs cleaned on the fuse and holder. Add dielectric grease to all.

The fuse looked perfect but I'll give the grease a try.

Look at the holder ends... Make sure there is spring contact. Do you have a volt meter? Start at the fuse holder.

Turn it on, 12 or more volt setting... Put the black probe on the cranking battery negative or fuse block negative.... Put the red on the fuse holder contact, try both sides... Read voltage.

When you have time, electrical issues abound in a few years installation. It is highly reccomended to run power for your graphs directly to the battery. I put a 6 circuit automotive type fuse block wired directly from the battery to power all the electronics in my starboard rod locker next to the fire extenguisher. This way it is easy to check the fuses, and less of a wire run from the bow. I ran 10 ga wire from the battery to the block through a cutoff switch such that when I plug in my battery charger I am not energizing the electronics. Pain to rig, but highly worth it.

Mark, I lost my power to my graph while prefishing for a tournament...I didn't have time to mess with it so I just ran a power cord over the back deck and down into the hatch to the battery to get me by for the weekend...I had to do the same when one of my livewell pump wires broke someplace so it would run through the panel on the dash..

If it was a HB I would have an extra cord for you but I used up all my extra Lowrance stuff for my ice fishing setups...

Like was said in earlier posts start tracking the power cord back to the fuse/junction box...
