Very nice! Everybody seems to be very happy with this boat. When you get a chance, give us a report on how she runs with the Merc 4 stroke. Congrats!

Thanks on all the compliments. I actually purchased this boat last week from cabelas in Huntsville Alabama. Boat rides good, in my opinion as good as any glass boat that i have been in of similar length. With just me in the boat with full tank of fuel and livewell full top speed is 59 on gps. That was on pretty smooth water. Rougher water with fishing partner in the boat, around 55ish. It was a tough decision between the rt188 and this boat but the deciding factor for me was the performance of the bigger motor, and the layout difference of the boat. I really like the extra albeit shorter road box, and the fuel tank under the seats. You do sacrifice storage by having the fuel tank shifted forward but the hole shot and ride quality is awesome. The only complaint I have so far is it is back at the dealer for trolling motor swap. Minn Kota maxxum had a bad foot switch. I, like others did have to flip the rod box pistons. I will be getting a Merc monitor installed in the near future.

How was Cabelas with the sale? I was in there when I was shopping but they did not have any 18 footers in at the time. Now they stock the Rangers and last time I was in there they had a nice Lowe stinger in too.

Cabelas was a great experience. I got to deal directly with the sales manager. They don't really negotiate on the pricing. But basically the price you see on Rangers website is what you get. I saved $3000 buying from them as opposed to another Ranger dealer in Alabama quoted price. Both boats were rigged identical.

I looked at one of these today in the same color. Very nice.
    Congrats on the new boat.
I don't always tell people where I fish, but when I do, it's a lie.

very nice , congrats. I plan on getting one as soon as I complete my move from the east coast to the West Coast. Looking at them fully loaded with all the goodies about $31 - $33000.

I have a '17, and it does not have vents in the front boxes.

know it says on the web site what the storage length is but im wondering what real life measurements are. Hoping to fit one in the garage.
