    tach pegged out

    do I just need to change the tach or is there something im missingthat I can repair or reset

    sorry 225 optimax, tach pegs out on holeshot and stays that way

    Most standard tach's have an adjustment/pot switch on the back.

    Note current position IMPORTANT!

    Move switch back and forth a couple positions, do NOT exceed last setting.

    Return switch to original position noted above, and see how it does.
