Me and a buddy are looking to make a trip to one of those two lakes friday and was just curious what one would y'all go to. Hes fished okissa several times but neither one of us have been on calling panther. Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated.

Calling panther is essentially nothing but standing timber. Fishing on panther should be pretty good right now. Fish everywhere seen to be wrapping up the spawn and starting to eat a little better. Recently went to okhissa, some fish were on beds still and a lot of fish are just cruising. Couldn't get many bites out deep either. The lake has a ton of grass in it now and it is really changing the fishing.
