13 Alpha 199 Need Picture of the Plumbing

Hate to admit it but replaced the Cable on the Live well, no easy job. Drained tank Dry pulled it, the cable recommended 13 ft is way to long in my opinon. The pump mounts to the Live well valve. I did not get something right going back in.

1. Does the cable mounting go from the Transom straight towards the bow or does it loop around to the back of the valve? I ran it straight in and the arm popped off.

2. The Pump mounted to the Valve has an upper out let tube does that point to the bow or the Transom.

Yea I know a picture before I started would have done me proud>

the cable approaches the valve from the transom - or in other words, the side of the valve the cable is clamped to is the side nearest the transom.

for #2, if i remember correctly, you can face that outlet any way you want, it will likely only line up with recirc/filler nozzle hose coming from the top/back of the livewell in 1 direction - so it would all be dependent on where that hose sits in relation to the pump.
