    Humminbird 898

    Does anyone know what this blue line is coming from on the sonar? Beam select is 200kz and the unit is an 898c SI.

    My 998 did that when I had dual beam selected or 83hz.

    The beam is reflecting off of the bottom and when it returns to the transducer, all of the beam is not captured. Some, of it, passes the transducer. It is hitting something beyond and returning, again, past the transducer. It is reflecting off of something on your boat.
