Onix 3 update with onix 2.7 recordings

Had something really strange happen while watching 2.7 recording with 3.0 update. While looking at side imaging recording I noticed in the bottom corner which shows the hertz, it was showing 462 hertz in place of 455. I then went to 2D recording and it showed 0 hertz, don't know why, so I then went to sonar settings and it showed 50 hertz, I went back to 2D and opened the sonar frequency at top and it had 83 and 200 but it would not let me pick anything, is it cause you can't watch older recordings with newer updates?

You are the first one that has mentioned the 462 kHz.

Did you have a transducer connected when playing back the recording?

The Simulator recording is a lot older than the 3.000 software and it plays OK.

mine showed 462 on the 2d scree after the 3.0 update, but haven't been able to get it to show back up

No at that time there was no transducer hooked up and I was in normal mode with transducer disable, and I could not get the chirp settings to show up in the sonar setting, and the recordings were made sevreal weeks ago with the 2.7 software. I will try it on the boat and again after I make some recordings with 3.0

Ok so of it is suppose to be why is 455 still in the frequency select menu should it be 462

One of those things "it is what it is". Nothing changed, just the displayed frequency number.

I tried last night to play a recording in simulator mode with recordings I made with 2.7 software and it would not even pull up the recording list. I noticed the recording icon in the tools list was darkened as if I had already selected it. I powered down and restarted in normal mode and it worked as previously stated

Bigwill 3435 does 462 htz show up in your frequency select list cause mine does not, it shows just on the view, mine shows 455 in list

455 is the selection, 462 is what is displayed. No function has changed.
No operating frequency has changed.

On purpose due to CHIRPing Imaging with the new units.

BTW, recording playback has not changed, always has been in normal only.

One of the reasons for showing the actual 462 is to help those who are trying to identify and eliminate interference.

Spend 10 hours out on the water today with the new update and everything worked great
