I bought a 97 Champion last fall with a 150 EFI. It ran OK but had a rough idle. Seller assured me it was because it had sat for 2 years. Chained the gas, fuel/water seperator and the squeeze bulb. Better but not great. Took to a Merc mechanic and they replaced impeller, changed lower unit oil and squeeze bulb(said the one I bought was bad).
Took it out yesterday and it idled fine but as soon as I pushed the throttle it died. It was then hard to start and had to squeeze the bulb several times. The bulb would get mushy but not firm. Tried it several times. Finally used the TM to get back to ramp. Any ideas?
