3 bank charger to a 4 bank charger

Hey guys, what 4 bank charger is recommended that will fit in our boats? Currently, my 3 bank charger is up underneath the side next to the saddle tank with little room to spare height wise...i'd like to replace it with a 4 bank charger with at 10 amps per bank. Obviously, space is at a premium so was wondering if anyone knows what model will fit under there...i have literally no room back there between the offshore trim pump, jackplate pump, and power pole pump...thanks!

I was initially interested in the Minn Kota 4 bank/15 amp per bank charger but at 6" will be too tall...anyone have any experience with this one:

Minn Kota Precision Digital Chrgr MK 440 PC 4 bank x 10 amps

I have a 460-pc. It is 16x10x 3 3/4" one not the one that looks like a group 24 battery.

Another option is buy the bigger charger and mount it on a piece of wood. Just keep it in the garage and remember to take it with you on longer trips.

I think the 440 is going to be perfect I definitely don't have room for the bigger one. Thanks guys. I do have room in the port rear storag compartment think that light fiberglass inside the compartment is sturdy enough?

There was a thread not too long ago where there were pics of chargers mounted to the under side of the bilge lid.

    Mike and Alli,
This may be a stupid question but i aint real mechanical...i dont think these come with clips so every time i need to charge my batteries, i'd have to unbolt all 4 batteries to charge and then unbolt the connections when i'm done? Am i missing something?

Mine too. The Dual Pro professional 4 bank wouldn't fit by the TM batteries under the top cap like my MK did. So, I mounted it on the wall in the back of that compartment (behind passenger seat). Drilled through the wall right to the batteries for the wires and still have tons of room in the compartment. I did the same in my Stratos with the tall model MK345. I like it better, because I can see the charging meters betters and it makes everything easier to get to.

Adding clips would be easy, Even for an insurance salesman.

I am going to try this product. http://www.wellsmarinetech.com/bassmaxx1.html. I didn't want to add another battery or change chargers. I figure it has a 90 day money back guarantee with it. I have emailed with the owner and he said it will work for three batteries system with 36 volt and motor.
