Looks it to me. Yes it can be repaired. Make sure your prop shaft is not damaged either.

Shaft isn't bent...going to run up to Jerry Monday to be safe when I take him the prop but I couldn't see any bend or warp...prop already had some damage to it when I got the boat but that rock today did much more...

Other issue is the back up doesn't sit the way it supposed to..thrust washer isn't right for the SHO engine for the solas prop...

Make sure you use a genuine rubber hub, Or have Mark put one in. Many prop guys use the wrong hub and they fail prematurely or immediately.

It's not necessarily the hub..I may misspoke..zoom into the pic, the inside of the prop is cracked in the places....

I see now.... I would replace that prop. Make a decoration with that one.

Check your small barrel around the hub. Looks like its starting to crack beside the fins like mine did. Common problem with the new t1 props

That's what I was talking about...I've been reading about the T-1 SHO series and have been seeing some reviews of several breaking due to the torque of this engine...now I'm wondering about what prop to buy to replace this one...my buddy who deals these wants me to try a 26 Fury...I have the 27 Solas Scorpion New in box that I'm gonna try to trade for a 25 tomorrow. Then I have that 27 tempest plus that I'll prolly sell....has had some cup added to it but not sure it'll work to push this Skeeter...

If you can find a FXP it would be worth a try.

The Razor3 will be too small in diameter I think for your 4.2L... The Razor4 may be a great choice.

26p Fury too stiff, Wont get RPMs required. 25 Tempest might be the easiest to get a hold of. I ran a 25 and 24 fury 3 blade on the 225. The 24 was faster, at 5850-5900 rpms 72mph. 25 was 5700 RPMs at 70. Filled the live wells and the tiny diameter fell flat on its face. 66 With the 25 and 68 with the 24. Every body gets happy about a Fury because they see some good speeds with it and that is all that is registered. Unfortunately it is not meant for some applications. A Skeeter w/ SHO is one of those.

I've never ran one on anything myself...I've driven boats from the dealer that had them on it...they bite really well...didn't know how they'd hold up to a boat this big...figured if they run them on the nitros...guess there's just that big a difference in the mercs and the SHOs..

Ran the Solas today and it rolled, no slip, held good speed...but very very low rpms...73-74 at 5200...once the wind got up it ran 71 at 5200...I've got to get that bigger prop for this boat...a 25 Scorpion might work...if I can one..at this moment I got two props that are no good to me..and the one I need is no good at all..

How is ur prop to pad? Maybe try raising the jack plate to get your rpms up

There's 6 dots on the plate showing...kinda think if I pull it up anymore it's gonna start to slip or blow out..it does cavitate a bit on top end....props just too big...boats to big for the 27...
