Question 2016 150HP 4 cylinder 4 stroke tilt limit adjustment

Hi all, my first post and looking for some advice.

Briefly: New install - set up the trim/tilt limits via the Smartcraft SC1000 tacho gauge but the tilt up range is still too much - cowling just contacts vessel at full tilt travel.

There are no orange wires to manually setup and the 'tilt limit' in the diag software is greyed out. Is the tilt module an optional extra even on the 150/175 models as well as the 115 or is there something I'm missing.

Thanks for your help in advance.

From what I understand trim limits are set in the programming of the motor and has to be done with computer at dealer.

Where would this unit be mounted if it was fitted, on the lower port side of the powerhead?

    Port-Front corner, usually.
