Hey Travis...Nice video!...What year model is your V20? My 15 model was pretty dang quick with a Fury 25...I had a dual console model, no poles, and lithium batteries...I hit 76 MPH before with minimal tackle and minimal fuel but with two people. I consistently saw 72-74 mph even in the summer months.

Oh wow, mine is a 15 as well...I may have to try the 25 I thought I tried it when I first got the boat and then for some reason went with the 24. I might have to circle back around and see if that helps at all. I see 69-70 with full load and I have hit 74 plus occasionally. Thanks

Might have been because of hole shot? I know some who dropped to the 24 because of that. I couldn't spin a 26 but the 25 did really well.

It came with 24 fury. Would be nice to run that 4 blade in the summer or big water.

I noticed your water pressure was around 20 psi. How high are you running this engine? My water pressure gauge is pegged at WOT.

Really hoping to see some 2017 gain a few MPH on top end once everyone gets em dialed in.

I didn't notice the water pressure readings at 20psi, so I'll take your word for it. That being said, I'd say there is at least another 1 to 1.5 mph to be had just by raising the jackplate or trimming up to get the water pressure down to 12psi. Keep the rooster tail no higher than the top of the cowl.

I found the same results on my V20 running the Fury 4 vs the Fury 3. Hole shot though with livewells full and a tournament load was definitely better with the Fury 4 and the boat sticks like glue in turns. Going from a 3 to 4 was a good trade off under those conditions. I generally run my jack plate around the 16 setting on the Atlas gauge, rooster tail just below cowl, for the best top end. What are you torquing your prop nut at?

On the Fury 4 blade ho are you guys venting your PVS holes? I tried it with 4 holes completely opened and 4 plugged and there was no slippage. Thinking I need to vent the 4 closed ones with med hole PVS. ?????

I think the only way to say if having the PVS holes plugged or not would be dependent on engine height. It could take an entire day and many jackplate adjustments to give an honest opinion. A record log would need to be used showing plugged or unplugged, engine height, rpms at WOT, boat speed at WOT and time to plane.
