    Fortrex 112 Upgrade

I'm upgrading to a Fortrex 112 from an 80 Maxxum. After installing the mount, I noticed the back ourside corner of the mount doesn't sit 100% flush. I tried tightening the bolt back in that corner first to get it seated down, but it still sits up off the boat itself just a little. The mount sits pretty flush everywhere else. It's mainly on the back corner and front outside corner. The inside edge of the mount sits completely flush. When I tighten the other bolts, it is rock solid. The Maxxum mount sat flush. Functionally, it's fine. It just bothers me.
Would it be due to the curvature of the bow?

Is there anything I can pick up at a Marine or hardware store that I can placd under the mount to act like a spacer? Something cheap and easy?

    Any suggestions?

Go to the hardware store and buy a big plastic washer! That should even it out and make it sit flush without a gap.
