Running a holeshot plate and no pressure issue. I agree it should be way out of the water when on plane if it's not something is seriously wrong with his setup.

I'm fixing to either build one to fit the 12 inch slidemaster or order one from C and O Marine to fit mine. For me the benefits outweigh the not having it and on the Skeeter I really don't need it. My Bumble Bee benefited slightly but for me what it do was allowed a great place to mount the LSS2 transducer to and it be tucked safely out of the way on one of Scap's wedge mounting blocks...I wouldn't hesitate to put one on my boat..

Yeah, a GT52 transducer oughta fit right on the plate (sorry, couldn't resist). Probably get a foil and
maybe even 4 little basket balls to inflate inside the jp. (Give folks something else to ask me besides where the fish are bitin'. )
