Prop Hub for 250 HO G2

If I want to run any Evinrude prop, including the older ones (I have an older prop I want to use for a spare to my RX4), do I use the hub:
    Hub Kit - TBX E-TEC G2Part number: 767683

    Thanks,
    Jesse

That is the correct hub kit number for all Evinrude TBX style props to fit on a G2.

I think the prop I was going to use as a spare is not TBX. It is a 14 1/8x23 pitch 4 blade cyclone, with the part number 176999. Can that prop be used on a 250HO G2?

If it is a non TBX hub prop it will not be compatible.

According to the prop selection on BRP's site the Cyclone is a TBX prop. So a TBX hub kit will work on it.

I read this too. Then I checked by part number, and I have deduced there are Cyclone props like mine, that I think predate the TBX hub. Then there is a Cyclone TBX series, which will accept the hub. The PN on my prop appears to be a non TBX version of the Cyclone

That is correct Sir, you have an older Cyclone if that is your P/N. The TBX version of a Cyclone prop would be 763948 in a 23 inch version.

Anyone in the market for a non-TBX 23 pitch 4 blade Cyclone?
