Dealer says that the vrod has a built in motor toter. He flips a bar in the center of the tilt trim and says to use that.
I would call it the shallow water bar in most motors. Is it true that the new verados can use this instead of a motor toter?

Yes- and there are two possible positions for the support to sit. It's the designed support device, built into the engine (present on ALL Verado Models since production began in 2005).
