What to look for at guntersville?

Ok guys this may make you local guys upset but there is a bullet boat rally next weekend that I'm going to be attending it's going to be at the state lodge. I've never been to guntersville it's been on my bucket list for yes. I'm not going to expect much my I've heard it's a shallow lake. I'm not asking for fishing advice I'm more interested in my safety I do not have card for my graphs. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Keep it between the buoys. The navigational beacons.

Main channel stuff let it rip! Main channel marked real well, most creek channels marked descent too! Enjoy your trip!

Keep an eye on your chart plotter. Your Navionics will show shallow humps. Many creek entrances are shallow on one side and deeper on the other. Don't be afraid to fish shallow......very shallow.

If you have Lowrance HDS units, I found the insight maps for Guntersville to be pretty accurate for the area of the lake I was fishing anyway. Not much detail, but the depth was correct and the channels were right.

Definitely lakemaster and you can go to the humminbird chart select website and download individual lakes, in this case guntersville, a lot cheaper than buying an entire lake-master southeast card.
