WTT 28 Promax

(Prop Gone) Thanks BBC. Would like to trade a 28 Promax with all of Robbie's mods. for 28-30 bravo or 32 pro-et or performer. Prop is excellent condition. Any trade will need to be in good/excellent shape. I'm about as picky as Tim Powell. Pro ET will not carry the bow of the XB21. I ran a 32 to 97 @ 5800 and let out because it felt like it was going to swap ends. I also ran a 30 Pro ET to 95 with the keel guard dragging the water.

HMMM!! The fastest this boat has been was with a 30 pro ET that flung a blade.
I tried a 30 Promax when I still had 1.62 gears-- it was to tall for my application.

I ran a 32 pro et with cup work done this weekend that carried my bow pretty good. Geoff posted pictures of it on the Dallas area topic. Also ran a et cup 32 performer that ran well both at 92.2 loaded and a 30 performer bc with up work and 30 promax (stock) to 91.1 multiple times all loaded (I carry a couple hundred pounds up front). Tim it makes me wonder if the wedges you ran last year hurt the bow lift on the pro et being it was the same prop we both ran.

It could be, I would think that enough positive trim would eventually over come the negative effects of the wedge but I reckon it could drive the bow down enough early on that it could never fully recover. They are gone now but I don't have enough seat time without them to say either way.

With the wedges I prefer the Bullet Cut Performer 4 over the ET. The performer handled better, carried the bow, and ran faster.

ran the prop today Woody.. it flashes like you said and hooks and pulls like a freight train.. Couldn't air it out, as it was very ruff... Seen Bass 1 and his new Ally out trying to break it in .. Those singles look good. Those black and white boats look so good to me!

Its interesting how the pro et seems to work for some. I'd like to run one again since the changes ive made this winter

the 32 preformer that Jerry ran to Matt and had him fix it. Not going to have a prop that is unsafe to run.
