Thanks Ronnie...you can still see the heat cracks from the 20 years of sun. It's just not feasible to spead the $$$$ on those. Plus they'll prolly come back unless you re-gel the entire top cap.

Here's a side shot of a 2012 bay boat that a customer bought new and let it sit in the driveway with no cover but kept it waxed....you can see on the right side of the pic it still was pretty faded. Just proves, wash and wax all you want, the sun is a KILLER.

For now I only removed a few bad scratches and fixed the customers rub rail. It appears after doin a couple test spots for the customer he’ll be bringing it back in about a month and I’ll restore the gel on the top cap and sides as well as reupholstered his seats. I’ll post pics when I get it back. Thanks for asking about it. It’s a 1993.
