    March

Of the 4 years I have lived in ND and SD this has been the worst. Was excited when local lakes opened up first part of the week last week and now they are frozen solid again. Come on will old man winter just pass away already. Need to make a trip to Nelson but a little far from Sioux Falls compared to when I was in Fargo.

Make it to Jamestown in a car and I'll have my boat ready as your driving. Only shitty part for me is I'm on call for the next two weekends.

I'm prez of the Metro Club. Troy was telling me about your triton at the show. Sounds like a sweet rig. I'm always game to go just shoot me a pm. I may fish some of the SooBass tournaments this year if schedules don't clash and time allows.

It's got to be really bad when you've got a new boat.

Not to mention a little ice back on the lakes. Have any iced out yet?

I'd say most of the small lakes south of HWY 14 WERE ice free. Not, not so much now. But! The next 10 days look good!

I made a trip to Cabela's yesterday in Mitchell and lake Mitchell is wide open. I looked at lake vermilion as well and that's about 75% ice free

Had to get the red nitro out. Probably 10 boats came and went while we were out. One nice mirrorcraft came and fished from shore then left, hehe must have forgot a plug or something silly. Probably 20 people on shore throughout the day most bats had 2-3 people on them.

Never fished there. Looks like two ramps. Which one is preferred?

The one on the shallow end near the discharge. The other I don't think my boat would float with the truck all the way in the water. It's rather shallow lake so don't just jump on plane out of the gate, I haven't spent any time imaging but certain maps say rock pile a few times.

Yup, take the road down from the nw of the ramp too. The other road to the other ramp goes into private power plant property.
