Wow. Beautiful boat! That's exactly the color I'd get if I were building one.

    Got any performance numbers?

THanks! Me (250lbs) 50 gallons of fuel, half of BPS, 4 batteries, it''s doing 72.5gps with a fury 4-blade. I think it would push 75gps with a good 3 blade. But, the boat drives & handles really well with this prop. And with the summer months coming, I'll probably stick with this prop for now.

Congratulations, man! I really love these 205s. Keep us posted as you spend more time in the new rig. I'm very curious about the 205s ride quality in rough water.

Will do. It does excellent in the rough water. Keep in mind this boat has a 99'' beam!!!! It fishes very big for a 20' boat and rides like most 21's! This one will be up for sale soon as I have another 205 on order with a 250 HO G2 Evinrude. This boat with the Pro XS is a 71-73mph rig with a tourney load, 2 guys, and a good prop. I think the G2 or SHO will be a hair faster with better hole shot. I'll be able to tell you before much longer.

If it weren't for a total lack of dealer/mechanical support, I wouldn't even consider any other outboard. I grew up on OMCs, and I still think the new G2 Evinrudes are in a league all there own. Falcon boats and BRP need some support in the southern Indiana/Louisville, KY area! Certainly jealous of your rig, but IMHO Merc died when the EFIs did.

Sharp looking boat! Question for you, what are the specs on the capacity plate for persons and weight?

I think it's 5 people. I'll have to look to confirm the weight.

Local dealership advertising them mid 40's loaded with big graph up front and at console plus the long list of standard equipment that is typically optional on other brands such as hot foot, pro trim, compartment lighting etc

Not bad I wonder how the ride stacks up to a charger 797

5 persons or 700lbs is the rating on the tag. Totally different ride/performance than a 797. Comparing it to an F215 would be more appropriate and I haven't driven an F215 yet. Keep in mind this is a 20'4'' boat with a 99'' beam. So, it's over a foot shorter and wider than a 797. The holeshot is quicker on a 797 in my experience. But the F205 is a drier more maneuverable boat. Both boats ride very well. It's more of a "fit your needs" deal IMO. I like the shorter wider boat that runs a little faster. I like the curvy lines and shape of this boat better. And, the F205 is a sportier boat which is more appealing to me. There are lots of nice boats out there anymore. This one just really appeals and is more affordable if you don't go crazy with options.

Well the only thing I am looking for is possibly 12" helixs and maybe an ultrex. So I would figure mid 50s for that setup with a merc 250

I know the 797 is a different class but the 797 rode like a Cadillac compared to other boats I have been in like triton bass cat and stratos

The 797 is a very smooth soft riding boat, which is nice. It rides good in the chop too. But I got sprayed a few times more than I'd like, which has not happened in this F205 in 20-30mph winds! Again, I've been told the F215 has a softer ride and the price increase is VERY minimal to go with it over teh F205. If you would like to drive this boat, I'm sure we can work something out. There is a dealer in Lincoln, MO that has an F215 & 2 F205's on order. There will likely be some good options in Oklahoma in the near future. Take both for a ride and decide. The F215 is a foot longer and has 2 center storage compartments. I didn't think I'd like just one on the F205, but is has worked very nicely. The F205 has a shorter, fatter nose than the F215. But, if the cadillac ride is what you like, you really need to see an F215 and drive it!

Yeah I talked to the guy in mead but you pretty much had to be ready to put a down payment on the boat to get a demo ride from them

I'd be happy to take you for a spin over here on Table Rock if you make a trip to Branson. Keep me posted if that interests you!
