    New Motorguide tour question

Can anyone who’s installed the new tour had to drill more holes in the front deck or does the new gatormount match up with the older models. I’m debating between a ghost and motorguide but don’t want to drill more holes and weaken the front deck up too much. Thanks

The only answer is: It depends. I had to drill one more hole on my first install. The issue is, the newer mounts do not have as many of the 4" holes as the older models.

Thanks I appreciate it. One hole isn’t that bad I guess.
I know it sounds petty but I figured with the Ghost it would be all new holes and I’d have to make some kind of backer to strengthen the fiberglass back up and I was hoping the Tour would line up better.

You can always drill through the outer flange on the mount instead of the boat.

Mine matched existing holes perfectly. Replaced TM was a Tour 109.
There was a time that I didn't fish but I cannot remember it.

I replaced a FW75 on a gator mount, only two holes matched up.
