i havent had it in the rain but i set the rear hinge up tight and the latch tight. i use an extra large hinge for the lid and brake one side of the hinge so when closed, the gasket is squished tight so i wouldnt expect it to leak at all.
I would definitely be interested but I would want one that's taller and goes from driver's seat to passenger seat, seals the cooler where you can remove the cooler lid, has just just a rectangle lid behind the cup holders with a storage pocket between the cup holders!
And of course it will have to be Teal in color!!!

A round recessed latch like mine has is perfect. I think yours looks good and will sell just fine
im not against a round latch. a round hole is just as easy to cut so i can do that if customer wants it
The round latch's are meant to be walked on w/o triggering the opener.... Probably a better choice for this application.

yes sir but i can also use a textured powdercoat that will hid scratches also. it would look similar to bed liner but powdercoating
