    Alpha 211 bow height?

I have a 2010 Alpha 211 and I'm going to order a new trolling motor and was wondering what the bow height of an Alpha 211 is? I would just measure it but my boat is in the shop getting some repairs. Anyone know what the distance between the bow and the water is? The manufacturer suggests that the trolling motor sit 12" below the water to avoid cavitation. I just can't figure out if I should get the 45" or the 52" shaft.

I have the 52. Wouldn't want shorter especially with the wind we have around here.
You can always raise the 52.

The 45" seems short in 25mph wind.

I have a 45 on my 2013 Alpha 211 and it's OK, but if I have to replace it I'll go with the 52.

Thanks for the replies! Ima get the 52! Man, I wish Minn Kota would finish making some 112 52" I-pilot link trolling motors. They are always out of stock. I can't wait to get my hand on one of these and I have some tournaments coming up! They need to hurry up!

one question I have for you is ....how tight is your cover ....the 52 inch will need more room...just something else you need to consider
