2000 OMC ignition keys lost

Need some help guys. My keys are missing for my 2000 Stratos. What number off the ignition do I use. I took the mechanism out but it has several numbers?

There should be a number stamped on the control box if I remember correctly. Tt should be like 71,72.73.74, etc with a circle around it. That's the number key you will need. Terpstra may have some in stock or they can order, you can also get them on ebay.

Yes, thanks. I have a 79 on the choke and an 89 on the ignition shaft. I really wasn't sure which one I needed. My storage keys also gone but it appears Perks uses 2 different keys for all there locks so that's an easy find.

The number is very small and located right next to where the key goes in

Now that I think about it mine was stamped where the key goes in the ignition. Like John said its small but visible.

Your local dealer should have a ring set full of keys. They can provide you with one right away.
