    RT188 transducer mounting

    i need help finding a good location to mount my Gt-52 garmin sidevu transducer. i assume one of these two locations would work but i need you guys expertise. where should i mount it for the best performance?

    Thats pretty much where I have mine mounted on my Rt188. I have my SI transducer mounted on the left side and the 2D sonar transducer right above the bunk like in your picture. You'll get alot more responses over on the Tin Boats section. Good info on the RT over there.

    I have same question. Where did you end up installing transducer and how has it performed?

    If you put the transducer in line with the bunk, make sure the bunk doesn't exceed the transom and touch the transducer. Better to mount the transducer on a piece of composite board to make it easier to adjust and have more room.
