    Steering arm bushing

On my 04 Rude 250 I have slop in the steering arm. if you grab the lower unit and lift you can see it by the bottom motor mount. my questions is, can I remove the engine from the midsection a slight amount by just removing the motor mount bolts? I want to change that lower bushing and see what's going on in there.

Nope. It is a PITA you have to drop the lower, then pull the power head then access the bushing, nut etc.
