    Where do you mount a total scan transducer on your boats

    Can someone help , where do I mount a total scan transducer on the back of a gambler for the best performance .

    Some have it on the bottom late of the jack plate and some have said it gets knocked off there. Personally Ive had a SI ducer there for almost a year with a Transducer Saver and never had any issues.

    Thanks I have two opps one bottom of the jack plate the other on the side of the jack plate

    I had to mount my SI ducer right next to the plate towards the bottom. I tried to mount it to the bottom of the plate but it came loose. I would suggest the Transducer saver.

    Thanks Im going to mount it to the Jackplate with the transducer saver .
