Someone convince me to buy 360

Hi guys, I've seen a few videos of 360, bass brawl outdoors is by far the best one I've found, and read reviews both good and bad. I'm just not sold on it yet. Someone give me a reason why this is a must have or sway me not to purchase. Just would like to hear some first hand experiences. Thank you.

If you like knowing where every target is around you so you can cast right at it, then get one. If you like casting blind, then don't get one.

You ever on a school of fish and they move? Watch them move along the structure with the 360..... get the 3yr warranty so you don't have to worry about anything.

I cannot wait to use mine this year. Casey's videos on youtube are awesome and he's super great to talk to.

I fish for crappie with my 360. You can pick out an individual stump from 50 ft away and pull right over it and pick the fish off of them. Best resolution when less than 1mph but you can definitely pick out specific objects. I usually run through with my SI unit and mark visible target areas then go back with 360 and get to know each piece of structure. ( this was a good spot, oh what is that over there, and so on and so on)

Wayne that's a great picture of the 360 on your Helix. Do you like the Helix better than the Onix for viewing the 360. The reason I ask is because I must not have my settings right on the Onix. I could no where close to that view on your Helix.

Image quality is about the same, just BIGGER and brighter with the H12.

Lyal and I are to the point that we won't even fish with anybody that doesn't have a 360 hanging up front. We stand shoulder to shoulder at the bow and it's a game of who can fire a cast first at the refresh of the sceen on good stuff! If mine broke I'd overnight ship a new one. Not much else I can do or say to convince somebody, but knowing that EVERY single cast during the day is where I want it to be and know exactly where it is and if any fish are moving around off the structure is enough for me. 100% efficiency when fishing offshore.

Would I need a certain Helix model to network with the Onix. I want something at the console for maps and the 360

You can connect them with Ethernet, but only share waypoints. Any Ethernet capable Helix model. All the H-9, H-10, and H-12 plus the H-7 G2N

Mine used to be awesome but it is just ok now. I still use it every trip but the signal seems too hot. It leaked oil... ruined my boat cover, sent it to Humminbird for repair. Cost $240 bucks for repair. It was unusable when I got it back... signal so hot there was no contrast even on 1. Sent it back for second time, when it came back it was a lot better but still not as good as it was before the leak. I thought it might be me looking at all the grass that had come up making it seem like it had no contrast. I had nothing it compare to. Then winter came and the grass died. So it was confirmed to me that the unit is still too hot. I called Humminbird and was told too much time had passed and I would have to pay another $240 buck for them to look at it.

So... I am just living with it. Will probably trade boats at the end of this season. I will let the 360 go and probably buy another one and hope for better quality.

    I like having it.

Yesterday the bass were still shallow and there were schools of shad (much easier to see since they don't stay in one position) in the area too.

Go play with your $1,500 Panoptix that you have to point the trolling motor at! Better not miss the fish to the right or left or behind the boat... better keep swinging that trolling motor around in circles! Haha!
