6.5 Grendel Build

I have been wanting to build a 6.5 Grendel for a while. I originally thought about putting a 6.5 upper on one of my M&P 15 Lowers, but i have decided to sell the M&M 15 instead. I am about ready to pull the trigger on the upper and lower and thought i would got some opinions about my choices here. I am thinking about a Spikes Tactical Warthog w/enhanced kit M4 lower, and a Grendel Hunter 22" 6.5 w/16.5" free floated KeyMod hand guard. What do y'all think?

I have 3 Spikes guns and love them......I am pretty shocked a complete lower is $525.00. Wow.
I run a key mod rail on my Spikes ST22, the gun is a tack driver.

Drop the cheesy lower and buy a quality barrel,trigger, and handguard. Your welcome

I gotta agree with 'Rude on his assessment. But, Get what makes you happy.
My 6.5 isn't a Grendel It sure puts a smile on my face though.

The recipe I am working on is not 20" for sure.....but will shoot out to 500yds w/o hesitation

Was going to go with Satern fluted & JP Parts on mine

A friend of mine has a Grendel upper he might sell. It's all high grade components though, so it will be high!

Go for it, You can always add a better trigger group and parts later. I would go with their bolt with the upper though.
