    Prop help

Looking to order a new prop for my h51 Yamaha 90. No jackplate, old prop was a 17 unknown brand, I turned 5900 and top speed was 43 mph. I have tried a few different 19s and they all have bogged my hole shot, acceleration, dropped my rpms to low with no help to top end. I would like to get around 5500 with as much performance as possible

I used to run a H50 w/2 stroke Yamaha 75 hopped up to a 90 ......... Trophy Plus and a modified Raker (modified to allow hub splines to work on Yamaha) were my best.

I 'think' alot of the H51/90 guys have experienced about the same thing, with exception being adding the Yamaha Pro Series propeller into the mix as well.

Pitch is going to depend on what kind of load (weight) you're running. My Trophy was a 17" that I turned 6000RPM's, my Raker was a 20" ..... which was a bit too much for the added weight of the H50 hull, but was PERFECT on my little light weight 1650HJ DB hull.
