Wear them for your family. No child should have to experience that. With a life jacket and kill switch, a fall out of the boat is only going to be an unpleasant experience 99.9% of the time. Without them those numbers change a lot.
If you have integrity, nothing else matters. If you don't have integrity,

Wouldn't there be, or are there, signs of a boat running aground? I would think the skeg would have dragged in the mud leaving obvious signs. As far up that bank the boat was, had to of hit with a lot of force that I would think would send the child flying. I just can't wrap my head around him falling out and drowning, this guy is an outdoorsman who was a very strong swimmer.
With the engine in forward, the outboard would kick back when it hit bottom. Still would drag, but not as hard as you would think. Chokes me up just imagining what the little guy went through.
