    Classic

I am a Marshal this year for the Classic and was wondering if anyone could provide me some lodging info? I really would rather not stay in down town Houston.. just need to be close to the ramp. I am fine with not going to weigh in if it keeps me out of downtown.

Also so what would be some options to get a red fish trip in?

Thanks in advance for any help

Wow BillDance, how cool!!! There are several hotels along Hwy 105 there between Conroe and Montgomery that might fit your needs. Best Western and Super 8 are along the highway with more in Conroe.

Good luck, it should be one helluva ride on Conroe Saturday especially if the locals are out pleasure boating being their normal obnoxious selves.

Ummm never been there, but Conroe is small and bulkheaded, gets to be a real joy out there.

There should be some wide-eyed moments for a marshal or two that weekend. Good thing is they won't have 1 1/2+ hour runs.

I saw an IKE video where he is fishing Livingston this week and he said Friday. Should be fun them practicing Saturday and Sunday with at least one big tournament on Sunday. I would be surprised if there is not one on Saturday. At least they will get to see where the locals are catching them.
