Helix Mega to old 5-port switch

I have 2 898s and an 1159 and I-pilot link all connected via an AS ETH 5ps switch.
I am planning to upgrade the 1159 to a Helix 10 Mega SI.
The question is. Do I need to change to the AS ETH 5PXG ?
    Thanks.

I'd give it a try and see what happens .... I think most of the issues with the old switch were when there was a large amount of data like with the 360. Humminbird did also change some things in their Ethernet protocol.

What software versions do you have on your current units?

HELIX, ONIX, and SOLIX will not work with the AS ETH 5PS, you would need the AS ETH 5PXG.

    Thanks for the answer.
Bummer that I need a new switch if I decide to upgrade.

Well that helps with the problem I have been seeing The 360 keeps going down on the Helix unit. Tks
