looks like the factory sealant was a clear silicone like you would get from GE at home depot. wondering what is the best recommendation for redoing the silicone seal around the cop cap? im between a clear GE style stuff or 4200/5200..??

Long as it's water proof
I used the clear silicone, 5200 is a huge pain in the ass if you ever have to removed the rub rail or anything it comes in contact with ever again. Used the GE silicone three years ago and haven't had any issues.
