2010 Optimax 150 Spark Plug Gap

I've been looking for the required plug gap for a 2010 Opti 150. The plugs are IZFR5G NGK Iridiums.

    Thanks

Thank you. I read that before posting but I've also read conflicting posts. So I called Don and he told me .034 whereas that sticky says .032-.033

I gap the plugs for my standard Optimax 150 per the FAQ.

Gap is indeed .032-.033". That means .030-.031 goes in the gap real easy, and .034 will not fit.

Believe that may be where you got that number from.

I was told 2011 150 optimax proxs plugs should come pre gapped..? If not the correct gap is .043..? Sound right?

NEVER rely on pre-gapped plugs and ALWAYS verify gap using a wire style plug gauge before installing in your engine. Your 150 ProXS is different than the OPs standard 150 and differences are addressed in the same link posted above - Oil, Battery, Spark Plugs, Fuel and Fuel Additive Recommendations

Also... Bob- if you would, read through the Announcements at the top of the forum. ONE engine per thread, please (helps prevent confusion and thread hi-jacking).
