    300 Blackout upper...

Hey there friends, I'm in the market for a 300 Blackout upper. What do you recommend? I'm definitely on a budget. I might hunt Deer with it in a woods setting (100 yards in), but it will mostly be for home defense.

    Thanks for your opinions!

    See ya

Will be my first experience with one. Youtube has some very good videos on the range and particulars.

MIdway has a side charging .300 Blackout upper on sale. Side charging is really nice with a scope.

R.D., I could do either, depending on the deal.

I'm really hoping that the NFA is adjusted so I could get a suppressor for it also. I just hate to apply and wait on the pathetic ATF to take 10 months to approve me.

    See ya

I got a Radical arms 300 bo upper. It was complete with 16" barrel with 15" hand guard. Cheaper than dirt had it for $309. I use it for deer and hog hunting. Not shot a pig with it yet but it did take down a deer with a 130gr Barnes and worked it over pretty good.

Doors are wide open then.....I have seen a lot of 300 uppers going for just over $200 and as high as 600 depending on the manufacturer.

If sticking with a 16" & carbine/pistol gas, then there are a ton of them out there right now. Radical, Hardened, Anderson.....lots of option out there under $400 for sure.

Here is one as well, with BCG & CH.

PSA typically has some as well, but they seem to be out of stuff a lot here lately.

I'm holding out & saving some $ to possibly get a couple things from these guys this year

I have a Hardened Arms 16" .300 Blackout upper. Paid $329.00 for it. With a suppressor and subsonic handloaded cast bullets, it's pretty much as quiet as on TV. With subs, I limit it to 100yds for coyote hunting. As far as ballistics go, it isn't bad, but it wouldn't be my first choice as a deer rifle.
