Thumbs Up Sign up for March NoAl Tournament at Guntersville......

Ok, boys and girls, I tried something a little different this time. After talking to the guys after our last tournament at Smith a couple of weeks ago, we decided to simply draw a lake out of the hat for our next NoAl tournament. And the winner, much to my chagrin, is Guntersville. We'll be launching out of the ramp at Wyeth Drive in Guntersville on the 18th of March. Registration will begin at 5:30 with "ease off" at first light which should be around 6:30. Weigh in will be at 3:00.

As usual, I'll have plenty of registration forms available at the ramp but you can print them out ahead of time here if you'd like.

    Confirmed Participants

    Heath Webb & David Bannister
    Derek Coburn & Robert Farrar
    Albert & Shelby
    Sam Long & Dallas McElroy
    Trent Hoover & Ken Blank
    Kerry Copeland
    Byron Terry

I would be interested, if anyone has an open seat.

I have wanted to fish with you guys for a while now, but it just never worked out. I don't have a boat this year so that counts me out as a boater, for a while anyway.

If anyone is interested just PM me and we can go from there. Thanks!

Hey Avery just a heads up but the BFL Choo Choo division is going out of Guntserville Boat harbor that day and Alreds and the 2 Spring Creek ramps will have 160 boats putting in that morning. Not a problem but will be a little hectic and plenty water for evryone. Just thought you might want to know. Good Luck to all fishing Ive only fished 1 NoAl tourney in the past and had a good time. I'll fish again when it doesn't but heads with BFL.

I didn't know that but it's not real surprising. I've never fished Guntersville where there wasn't a crap load of other tournaments going on.

    Avery,
We have our club tournament there at the same ramp that day and I have spoken with our director about fishing both tournaments. He is fine with it but we will be weighing in 30 minutes prior to the north Alabama event. Do you mind if we fish both?

Looking forward to fishing with you guys again. I really enjoyed it. However, I'm with Keith. I don't mind a lot of boats but competing for spots with some of the BFL guys is another story. I'll join you guys next month. Be safe and catch some fish.

We've never had a problem with it before so I don't see there to be a problem this time.

Trent Hoover and Ken Blank(friend of mine from Chicago) will be there. I decided against fishing the BFL's this year, but it's going to be a doozy with all of them tournaments. Guntersville is awesome, but fishes like a pond most times. See you guys in a couple weeks!

Since the ramps are going to be packed deep, is it ok to launch anywhere and meet at the "ease off" location?

Well fellas, after many attempts to try and change my work schedule, it looks like I'm going to have to miss this one. Good luck to everyone, and stay safe out there. Hopefully I will get to donate next month. Lol
