I didn't crash it!
A lot of you may not be aware of this, but at Pro's Choice Marine we have a full service, factory authorized fiberglass shop on site. Not down the road or in the next town, but actually about 100' from my office door. This is very handy for our customers.......when you drop your boat off for service you can also get your scratches fixed, hull buffed, or when the Corps of Engineers suddenly drops the lake a foot or two and you find a stump the hard way, it can all be taken care of right on site. And if by chance your boat needs warranty work, this shop is a factory authorized Ranger, Nitro, and Triton repair center.
My boat is a 2002 Ranger 518vx and is in excellent to well above average condition, but has been fished as that is what they are built for. I wanted to get a few things done to it, and thought you guys would like to see the progress. The running surface had its' share of scrapes and gouges, a few chunks out of the chines and near the drain plug, and fractures near the bow eye from just a little too much gas when power loading onto the trailer. Nothing out of the ordinary for a boat this age, but nonetheless I wanted to get it taken care of.
First, here are a few "before" pictures.......
