Question Aerated bait bucket for shiners/shad?

I need a little help on choosing a good aerated/insulated bait bucket to buy for shiners/shad. Should it be round or square? I was looking at the Engel bait and aeration cooler but it's square shape made me think before ordering it.I may be wrong but I thought shiners/shad need a round container so that they don't beat themselves in the corners. I would be taking the aerated bait bucket on the bass boat all day with us. Any suggestions on a good one that will keep shiners/shade for days (battery operated)? Any suggestions or reconmendations as to a good one to buy would be appreciated.

Round. Shiners/minnows are easy to keep. True shad are not. The die easy. They lose scales constantly and clog up pump/aerators. Even the striper guides with bait tanks, O2, pumps, filters, aerators have trouble keeping shad alive.

If you are doing minnows, I recommend a 2-3 gallon water cooler. Round and well insulated. A little hole for tubing and air stone and you have a supper minnow bucket.

round is the only way to go, unless you want dead bait for catfishing
