    2012 250 Pro XS

    I have a 2012 250 Pro XS Serial # 1B903148.
MY question is I am being told we are suppose to run 87octane fuel in these but we are also being told Ethanol fuel is bad for our fuel lines and motors in general.
I have a Conoco station selling 89 octane 5% ethanol is this better or just stay with the 87 an use the cocktail mixture..

-Lowest possible ethanol content (NEVER to exceed 10%).
-While it may be preferable to utilize a fuel that contains lower (or no) ethanol, use of fuels that are SUBSTANTIALLY higher octane can result in decreased performance, decreased fuel economy, and potential for carbon buildup. Higher octane fuels burn SLOWER and COOLER.
