It's offline between 10 and 11:30 eastern (so 7 and 8:30 your time?), but will be back after that.

Never understood how we ended up with right handers reeling with their right hand in the first place in any capacity. My only guess is that the baitcasters started in salt water with huge fish where the angler needed all the strength they could muster to turn the handle and it just bled on over to the small reels.

I can't recall it ever costing me a lost fish and I flip/pitch a ton. Its subconscious and feels natural to me to switch hands. Its not that big a deal really. I don't think it results in less casts per day either.

Im with Mark on this one. I'd rather be extremely accurate with my dominate hand than ok with my left hand. Some of the very best flippers switch hands. Christie does for sure.

I'm right handed and fish all left hand reels. Only makes sense to me to cast and set the hook with my dominant arm and reel with my left hand. Rod never leaves my hand.

I switch hands when I pitch as well. Never seems to be a problem.

I flip with my left arm, but I'm right handed. Always seemed natural to me.
