    Question 2016 Triton 186TRX

Does anyone own a 2016 Triton 189 TRX? I just put a down deposit on one and would love to hear any opinions that people have. This boat has a 2016 Evinrude 150HP DGL ETEC. I was wondering what top speed could be with no power poles and no jackplate. Also, fuel consumption. Is it good? I heard it is excellent. Thank you.

i have a 2016 with a 4 stroke mercury. No power poles or jackplate, yet. Fastest i've had it was around 58 gps. Mine seems to sip gas, but can't comment on the Evinrude.

I have a '14 Triton 18XS. Same hull as I understand. I have a '14 Mercury 150 Pro XS. No jackplate or poles.

I run in the mid 50's routinely. Boat fishes very large and despite not being a speed burner is a great fishing platform. Great value fore the money. Love mine. Merc gets great gas mileage. No complaints there.

Hope you love yours as well.
