Let's not forget our Onix units

Each time I sign on the humminbird forum I am seeing less and less about our nice Onix units we paid a pretty price to have, and more and more about the Helix and Mega which it should be because they are the newest and greatest but, just wanted to say that maybe we need to have more discussions about the Onix so they are not forgotten. Let's not forget these wonderful units. Thanks

We will have plenty to discuss as soon as the update is released. I also have the winter blues.

I have an Onix 10 si. My only complaint is the dim screen. That being said if the new update is half what they say it is I will live with the dim screen and not complain. I also paid the high price for mine and refuse to upgrade to the Solix 15 for another 3k.
    good luck to all.

Good thread. Everytime i log in to this site, i'm scrolling topics to see some comments of onix units. I didnt use enough time to learn my unit last summer. Most of the time fishing took the main focus, even my plan was to focus on sonar. Cant wait to get the update and get rid of winter for more time in the water with my onix. Now there is just mega images everywhere.

The V3 software update for the Onix family was loaded to the "My Humminbird" product page today. Here is the link to the "what's new" page --> http://www.humminbird.com/Category/Support/FAQ/3-000/
