    Humminbird helix or Lowrance HDS?

    Pros and cons of helix or HDS? Always been a Lowrance guy looking hard at switching to helix? Anyone done this?

    Ford/Chevy debate, but, if you are at all thinking about an Ultrex, it would be nice to link it to the Birds. Personally, I have had both, and prefer my Birds now.

    I have both....hds 7 gen 2 and helix 7si/gps. Didn't know which I would like so I tried both! Very impressed with the bird....prefer the lakemaster maps bird offers....image and screen quality is amazing....they are both pretty simple to use.....design and looks of the birds are very clean....price for the bird is well worth it.....these are all simply opinions but I do run both and that's gotta count for something!
