What size engine did you go with 150 or 115? Just curious why the Lund was expensive. If the Renegade 1875 has a 115 max that should help keep price in check somewhat.

Spinningreel, if you are asking me. The max on the Lund is 115 which is what I went with (pro xs). As to price, it was really, really close to the RT188. Didn't get pricing on any of the other boats as there aren't any dealers that have a 18' boat on the floor to look at in my vicinity. Lund is one of those brands that has a reputation in the riveted aluminum world that gets top dollar new or used.

Xpess Makes an X18 and an X19. They are 18ft and 19ft models. Both have a 95" beam. They both have the Hyper Lift high performance hull. The X18 is rated for a 150hp and the X19 is rated for a 200hp. They also use .125" thick aluminum. Most people would agree they have less features than most comparative models, but better performance.

anyone know if the $4300 discount on the lund 18 footer with the 90 hp applies when you equip it with the 115. If it does that is super attractive, that would put the the lund at $21500 with no options but with the 115.

The X18 Last year had gone up to a 175 hp rating and brought it back to 150 this year.

From this, I believe the Lowe stinger provides more "fishable space "

Not really. The Tracker is 19'5" the others are at the 18.8' so if the Tracker was pushed up 1.5' pass the top line and blown up to match. You would see how wide that boat is. On the other hand Lowe does carry there beam up further forward then most manufacturers.

According to tracker's website, the 195 txw is 18'7". Do they have a major typo?

The pic of the Ranger is not a 188, it is a 198p.

no if that's what it says then it is. I thought it was 19+. The one I saw in person it's just extra huge and it look longer than the 190.

The 195TXW does look huge when seen on the showroom floor but I think it is the width and depth of the hull that fools you. But all boats look big on the showroom floor and seem to shrink when you launch them the first time on a really big body of water, especially when white caps are rolling past the ramp! I'll never forget the first time I went to Oneida Lake and it happened to be a very windy day. Almost crawled back to the hotel, but I did launch and survive.

I was able to see the tracker, lowe 178 , Rt188, G3, Lund 1775, and pro vee bass all fairly close to each other in a boat show a few weeks ago. Would of been cool if a PT18 and Xpress would have been there also. But walking around each boat and opening compartments and such is pretty interesting.

My take away from those photos is going to be, if you just want to drive around buy any of those boats, but the Lund is the only one capable of fishing*

*This opinion may have been influenced by my recent purchase of a Lund, and that I almost certainly look like a total tool when I am fishing.
