    Pro Tec sealant, two coats, a few times a year. After that, use whatever wax or quick detailer you like.

    That is good stuff, found out about it by accident, 25 or so years ago was looking for something to clean up the boat, the wife said this stuff is for fiberglass. Wow, it was in a aerosol can at that time lol.

    My boat is about equally scratches and gelcoat. I wash it once a month in the Summer, maybe. I use a pressure washer, then Dawn soap, then I spray it down with Pledge furniture wax, buff it down and it's almost pretty for a week or so. If it gets sticky from spilled scents that don't wash off with Dawn, I use gasoline to take those pesky spots off first.

    Not withstanding the extremely helpful post right above mine
    Collinte 925 or the insulator wax is great. So is star bright polish with ptef.
